Hi, this is the first post Ive made about my car. Ive been working really hard on this car and saving for the past few years trying to reach my goal of the 10s. Im very pleased to say that I made it. I ran a 10.98 @ 138mph on my second pass out that day. Granted, 10.98 is barely in the 10s, but its there non the less.
Im still learning to drive it. So I should get deeper in the 10s. But this was the last race for me this year. Ill try to put down more power next year and see what I can do.
I want to say thank you to Ray af Fusionworks Racing in Wichita Ks for all of his advise and help with the car, and for doing a great job tuning it.
There is way to much to list, but here is a quick rundown of my setup.

Im sure you can see it needs improvement. Like I said, Im still learning to drive it.
It has been on the dyno. It was a dyno dynamics, so it reads lower than the dyno jet people are used to. The timing belt jumped and we didnt get a full pull on the last dyno run, so it only showed 504hp. The guy who tuned it (Ray) said that where it said 504 is where the belt jumped, so it is making closer to 530. If we could have finished the dyno session it would have made more power. Ray said we hadnt run out of turbo or fuel yet. So Ill hit the dyno again before the next season and see if I can make more power.
530 @ 28lbs of boost on C16

Dont look at the power it showed on the dyno, look at the mph. Mph is what shows how much power a car is making.
Plus the tuner, Ray at fusion works, said he was impressed on how much power the car made. But Ill tell you what, Ill throw it on a dyno jet and see what power it shows then.

And thanks everyone for the congrats. It was a tough battle getting everything together. I was out for 2 years because someone had all my parts and I had to fight to get them back.

Hopefully its as simple as twin disc rattle. Can you give some advise on how to tell if that is what it is? It is my first twin disc setup.

I didnt get any videos. I was hoping someone did get it on video somewhere. lol I want to see the runs where I hit the 10s.
I didnt even think about that. I didnt cross my mind because it didnt start doing that until after that run. And I noticed some tranny fluid dripping. It may be just from the axle seal, it was leaking once before, but that should be fixed since I changed the seal. But it seems to be where it may be coming from. Otherwise, the case may be cracked. The car still drives all the way through 4th with no grinds or difficult shifts. Plus I was able to do a 2nd gear pull.

Oh, and Ill mess with the car this weekend and see when the rattle happens exactly. It also could be some bolts loosening. I have solid mounts and I know the vibrations cause that to happen. Ill check it out.
I Think the 510-530 range is about right for a 138mph trap. My car made 520 and trapped 138 at a 10.7. Definatly should be a loooow 1.6 to low 1.5 60ft. get that thing to 60 and youll be low 10's right there.
yeah, that is when i ran the 10, first round against you. Man, I would love to get that video! Is there a way you can send it to me. My email maybe?

You should be able to get a lot deeper into the 10's with that amount of power/ setup. Work on the short track and you should be able to go a 10.5x easy or better.
