BadBiddy's 10 year turbo Integra build 500+ or bust
OG MNHondas member formally introducing myself here. I don't I ever posted a build thread here before..... Long story short - purchased a 1995 Acura Integra LS just over 10 years ago as my first car. Owning it through high school, college, to present it has gone through a bunch of changes. I was apart of the "body kit" phase thinking any simple modification would make me faster - red dash vinyl to the 17" rims with low profile tires. I'll post a couple of photos of the transition phases and how the car currently sits.
Build summary:
Engine:
B18C1 block - 81.5mm bore
Eagle rods
CP pistons
ACL bearings
ARP headstuds
B16 head
Supertech valvetrain
GSR cams
AEM cam gears
Skunk2 Ultra manifold
Skunk2 TB
Hondata CoP
Turbo setup:
STC Interceptor turbo - currently waiting on it to ship
KLM top mount manifold
KLM 650hp intercooler
TIAL BOV
TIAL wastegate
Hondata s300 v3 - w/BBG
Transmission:
LS tranny with a MFactory LSD
Competition Clutch stage 4
OEM axles
K-tuned adjustable shifter
Plans:
Goal is to make a little over 500hp, street driven mostly with some track time
Now onto some photos - here is when the car had the body kit.... one of the only photos I can find.
After the body kit I moved onto restoring it back to a OEM look... I like JDM fronts but personally I love the USDM front more.
I decided to dabble in the Ruckus and Grom game a little bit.
Now lets get into the current state of the Integra
Ended up with a STC Gen1 Reaper / Spoolin Performance manifold setup - car made 434hp but ran into some issues... Eventually come to find out the turbo is blown.
New rims, new manifold, new intercooler, new turbo (enroute)
Testing the fitment on the new rim/slick combo
Axle sheared on dyno along with determining the turbo was blown

Future plans that are in the works:
1. Ethanol sensor install - tie into Hondata
2. Learn to TIG and re-do some of intercooler piping for better fitment
3. Quick release for front bumper install
4. Get re-tuned

Car looks good man!
What's your street wheel and tire setup? If this is mostly street driven why ditch the mini ram?

Yeah I dont know what I was even thinking when I ditched it.... kinda sad about it. Currently rocking some Advanti 15x8 rims with Mickey Thompson ET street drags - I think 225 or 235 x 55x15

Nice choice on the Advanti rims. Ive been running them on my car for a couple years now I think.. Cant beat a cheap 15x8 wheel that weighs only 11lbs.
Car is looking good! Cant wait to see how it turns out.

Exactly what I was thinking! Definitely a good looking / light weight rim.

UPDATES!!!
Turbo is in from Mac and its BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend going through STC for all of your turbo needs. I purchased the "Interceptor" - hight temp coated with the ported shroud.
Picked up a triple core radiator from Go-Autoworks.... going to work perfect as a coolant return from the turbo with the side bung. Had to make a little bracket to hold it in place.
Ran the AN lines for the flex fuel sensor. Mounted it on the firewall with another bracket I made.
Was working on running the coolant lines for the turbo.... realized how I routed them wont work. Ordered a -6an - 14mm straight fitting to bring the coolant lines down lower than the radiator cap.

Re: BadBiddy's 10 year turbo Integra build 500+ or bust
I was originally using a Gen1 Reaper. I called and talked to Mac for quite awhile and we agreed on the Interceptor being the setup for my build. Going to have quicker spool than the previous setup but also give me potential for more power in the future as well. I'm looking for the 550ish area. I just said 500 or bust for a good title for the thread

Re: BadBiddy's 10 year turbo Integra build 500+ or bust
Thanks man!
In other news - was able to finish up wiring the flex fuel sensor in. I also made a big discover last night as well... opened up my ECU and found out I was only running a s300v1 and not what I thought originally was suppose to be a v2. I picked up a s300 v3 setup locally and installed it. The new features including the bluetooth is sweet! Thinking about adding a small mount for a android tablet to use as a simple device for connecting to it. Would be nice to run a Surface or something similar to be able to datalog / tune instead of bringing my laptop everywhere.
Now to just wait for the remaining fittings and I should be able to start it up.

Like this build a lot so far, very clean Integra and great choice on parts so far.
Mind posting some more pictures of that tri-core Go Autoworks radiator? I've been curious about the fitment of that guy along with a shroud + fan. Been doing some N/A work lately on friends builds but still flip-flopping decisions for my own.
