Default one thing after another for motor swap

i have a 99civic CX. i want to put a 99+gsr motor into it. i learned today that the 99+ gsr ecu's have an immobilizer, so i have to get it chipped or get a different ecu which requires a jumper harness?

besides the Si mounts and wiring harness needed, what else should i be sure to get?

edit: NM i found out its the 2000-2001 gsr ecu's that have the immobilizer, but i can still use any extra info from anyone who's done this kind of swap

this feels like my own honda-tech journal...

so the 99gsr is obd2a and my car is obd2b. i need a jumper harness but i cant find one thats 2a-2b. if i get another ecu, the intake mani secondary butterflies will be screwed up. Anyone with some helpful info? i've searched but there aren't too many threads on 99+civics and 99+ motors

ok fine here is all the info i've found
i need:
99-00 Civic Si driver side mount and rear tranny mount
Del Sol vtec a/c bracket
99-00 Si or EX wiring harness (not required but makes wiring a little bit easier)
OBD2b->OBD2 ecu conversion harness (if i will be using the 99gsr ecu from a 99gsr motor)

problems i might encounter:
-the stock gsr header ends a few inches before the rest of my stock exhaust begins. so i will have a gap i will need to fill before i can get to a muffler shop\
-the throttle cable may be too short

So this is all the info i've found. It seems there's always something else, which is why i wanted to ask if there are any details i've missed. thanks

I think you just doubled your post count in one topic

Seriously, just keep editing one post so you can have it all in one nice and tighty post so people can answer you.

It's called "constructive criticism" Seriously the topics you have asked have been covered quite a few times on here and lots of other places on the internet. It pays to do a lot of reseach before asking "noob" questions and expecting answers.

whatever man...i posted all the info i found so this thread already contains tech. i've been researching for a couple months. now i just need to know any minor details before i begin. but since no one has anything to add, but rather just "noob" criticism. i guess my research is done. oh and FYI, info concerning 99-00 civic hyrbids are rare and hard to find.
