Hello fellow Honda nutters,new boy from the U.K requires big help. I'm running a
bastardised 1991 Honda Concerto rebadged as a Rover 216, (Honda & Rover had an agreement in the mid 80's to manufacture & sell the same models,badged with their own name) D16A9 engine fitted in mine,nice little revvy engine BUT ITS NOT ENOUGH - I WANT MORE POWER!
Question is,will an H22 fit in place of the D16 without having to completely rebuild the front of the car?? I've had a look at a couple of preludes and the engine mounts look to be in about the same place but I'm sure theres someone out there who's taken on such a job,and even harder ones I guess.
Sorry if I'm being totally skitz but I need to know.

I searched for your car on Google and the body seems similar to a 88-91 Civic. I do recall reading about people successfully swapping a H22 into that generation of Civic, so I think it's quite possible...
Anyone else?
