ok i dont know what year H22 engine hes dropping, nor do i know if this matters.

But he has a 92-94 civic (dx) and my friend was telling him he could drop the H22 RIGHT IN... and i was like no ****** way the engine mounts for me car (98 civic ex) are like $700+. and this guy is arguing with me saying it wouldnt cost a thing to drop it in...........is this true will that H22 fit right into his car if not please explain why so i can tell him tomorrow.

with slight modification (mounts, and denting the engine bay in certain spots) it fits

i believe the HAsport kit to convert civic to h22a mounts runs about $500, so tack on an extra $500 to the swap price

other than that, just some minor mods that have to be done to shoehorn it in....do a search, i think some people recently posted ALOT of info on h22a swaps in civics

an h22 does not drop in at all whatsoever.

you need new mounts. got my hasports for like $550

theres a lot more to the swap than just mounts too ya know....
