Damn, I started this thread on the 3rd of november, right after I bought my car. I had the motor I wanted shortly after and had it in and running in a day. All was done 23 days after I had bought the car. Thank god I didnt go with this bull **** company!!!!

 

Wow this thread definately opened my eyes!

When I got the money I was thinking about buying from them. But now that I think about it, they're website is shady, prices are shady and now the whole business sounds like a scam.

Nothing pisses me off more than bad service, believe me I used to be a server in a restaurant.

Now that I know this info, I will NEVER buy from them, and it's a good thing I found this thread before I did!

Keep updating, Flash Options blows!

 

About 3 years ago, I realised they are scammers.. Most people know it. THEY ARE ALSO LOCATED AROUND 10000 miles away people!!!!

I've seen people getting their motors from canada ... also very far away ... with their sites looking less legit than FO.com's site

 

Id much rather buy from canada, atleast you can drive there......

i'm glad i'm the 1 out of 10... but it shouldn't have taken 8 months for me to receive my order! i hate badmouthing people especially when they're not around and don't know that i'm badmouthing them... but since flashoptions knows that i'm badmouthing them (i think they're on this forum or something), i don't feel so bad. flashoptions

I just went to PW a few weeks ago, nice place and very informative people espcially Leo; the owner I believe.

 

yeah ... I thought I was getting a good deal already though ... and my friend is a FO dealer ... but now FO is pissing him off too ...

I wish I had gone with passwordjdm ... the thing that swayed me away from there is that I heard their customer service wasn't that great ... or their products were not the best or some **** ... it was so long ago I can't even remember

 

my buddy ordered a Gen 2 3SGTE rear clip for his MR2, took about 7 months to get here, and they ended up sending him a 3SGTE front clip from a Celica. Then they said they'd exchange, but woulda had to pay for all the customs crap again.

 

wow... the mistake they made for me was i ordered a '99 ctr and they sent me a '98 ctr... there's a huge difference but they didn't seem to think that...

 

well ... k20a's are k20a's ... so there isn't much of a difference between that ...

 

eh... in case you haven't noticed... i didn't order the ctr motor... i ordered a CTR... whole car... and there's a world of difference between a '98 CTR vs. '99 CTR.

I guess that would be a more cost-effective way to go ...

 

yeah... i used EVERYTHING... firewall, subframe, steering rack, a/c, ps, suspension for a RHD conversion... and i motor for swap, interior for of course the recaro's, headlights, spoiler, lips, 5 lug, hatch, tinted glass, carpet, gauge cluster, etc... it was a good deal. but it took forever and nothing came in good shape. some things were in decent shape, but nothing was 8 of 10. the firewall was probably in the best shape 7 of 10.

 

ok, so last night I got an email saying that my clip would be here something w/in this month or early next month ... so we'll see .........
