keep us updated on how your order comes along. i hope that your transaction goes along smootly. mine went great, as good as it gets, until it didn't show up.

i'm just pissed off at them because they sent me that stupid email after a post went up about them, but whenever they should send me an email, they don't. all the emails i sent them, i rarely got a reponse. and they're still not responding now.

no misunderstandings here. my order did come. however, some parts of my order were missing... and that's what i'm complaining about.

Wouldn't of just been easier to go to Australia or Japan, get the car and ship it over yourself? maybe even cheaper?? This shop sounds shady.

yeah but you'd probably need to deal with exporting from japan or australia and customs laws and shipping and crap...

customs crap- get a customs agent or take the time to study the law. DHL hasn't done me wrong yet on shipping. The other alternative is to find a reputable company that will sell to you at a fair price, then continue to due business with them exclusively so that they remember you by name. The second option is harder than it sounds

yeah... that sucks... hopefully that's all there is... do you have to hire a customs broker as well? i did in order for US customs to release my crates. that cost me another $175 per crate.

yah whatever... that's why you're bringing in cars yourself? it's all easier said than done. that's why everyone goes to japan to get a backyard special bumper themselves instead of paying the local shops tons of money because they did all the hard work right? that's just it... that's why most people don't go to japan and australia to get these things because they only need one or two items... not to buy 20 skylines or anything.

ok, my dealer is really flaking on me ... pissing me off ... it's bad enough he charged me $5350 for the clip (and sent $5000 ... so he pocketed $350 of my money )

he said "he guaranteed it would take 3 weeks" for the clip to come into stock ... and yes, it did take that long ... it's in stock now (showed me pics) ... however, now it's taking forever for him to come pick up the money ... ... it's been a total of 5 weeks

i came from the nissan 240sx crowd back in '00-'02...and flash options has had a bad rep even back then when dealin with our rwd sr clips.......DO NOT BUY FROM FLASHOPTIONS.com jesus christ ppl do a search on google and see for urself......the hassle and money u waste does not equal the $300 bucks (esimate) cheaper they post thier motors for........pay the extra cash and buy from a company in the usa that you can deal with and or sue if you have issues......how the hell are you goin to fight for ur money back if u wire it to a company in asia? do you know the business laws in that country??? too much issues ppl......good luck with ur k20....everyone else should stay away....just my 2 cents

Why the hell would someone give money to a company based in Malaysia?

There are scammers, big time, that is why their pricing is so low.

wow... 12/07/04 and no response from flashoptions! yeah whatever... anyways... as much as i hate flashoptions, i wouldn't go as far as calling them scammers... i just don't like their business policy... which basically consists of: give me your money and i'll get you your clip... eventually. i DID get what i ordered... just not the shape i wanted it in and not exactly in a timely manner... as for the unexpected costs... can't really blame flashoptions but they should warn their customers but in the real world...

I talked to gavin a while back on the telephone and had 5-6 Emails back and forth concerning a Full CTR front clip. In the End I decided not to do it because I didnt like the fact of sending money to some dude in Malysia with no real way to trace it. So I opted not to go with them (luckily)

Unfortunately, I went to another guy in WA to get a motor off of Ebay and got screwed over buying the motor I did. Didnt come with Tranny like it was supposed to, damaged motor, etc...
