Default Trans issues...Help me....

This is my situation:

Crx with B16A3 using a 90-93 integra cable trans with 90-93 integra clutch cable. Clutch is Competition Clutch Ironman Series for 90-93 integra in combo with Competition Clutch lightened flywheel.

My issue: Catch point is alllllll the way at the top. almost as I let go of pedal is where is catches. The cable is maxed out all the way as far as the adjustment of it. And also the clutch is slipping already and there's not many miles on it at all!

Any suggestions or comments??

What do you mean which way did you adjust the clutch? You mean which way did adjust the cable?

to the right and tightened it. It's maxed out and i can't turn it anymore. If i loosen it. The arm will be loose and nothing will happen. Why what do you think?

Sounds like the pressure plate is the wrong size. But then I don't know about these cars with mixed parts.
Good luck.

You could take it all apart and do some measuring. That would tell you a lot.

sounds like the flywheel or pressure plate is glazed over pretty bad man ya need to rip it apart before ya ruin the flywheel any more. i wouldnt drive it either till its fixed

clutch isn't that old only put a few thousand miles on it.

and to answer the other question about the pressure plate being to far. that seems viable but I used the 90 integra clutch package with the plate and the disc. maybe I should've got them separately and got the integra disc but the del sol pressure plate ?

High clutch pedal effort is seldom caused by a
clutch linkage problem, it’s usually just a sign that the
clutch disc is worn and needs replacement. As the
disc wears, the clutch linkage geometry becomes less
favorable, causing an increase in the amount of effort
required to depress the pedal.
While installing the new clutch, inspect the “nose”
of the transmission where the release bearing rides.
An excessively worn nose can also contribute to high
pedal effort.

they wont understand your problem, unless they experienced it, i have the same problem as you did, 89' crx dx with obd0 b16a swap, at first the clutch cable was too short to put in (from 89' dx), so i bought 90-93 integra cable, not working, i went to junk yard and got one from 90' crx si, still the same thing, next i bought a 92' integra gsr cable from local parts store, guess what?? same thing, i measure it, they are same length, i could barely put it in by adjusting the clutch pedal screw, but the pedal was way too high, too little clutch play, almost no clutch play, plus the engaging point was strange, here is what i did, i cut clutch cable, outside metal only, not inside plastic, 1" or so, couldnt really tell how much i cut, just cut to my need, then get a sheet metal wrap around where you cut, secure it with couple small worm clamp, there's your custom made clutch cable, good luck and have fun.

Awesome...someone who knows what I'm going through!

So you cut the 90-93 clutch cable?
What end did you cut?
Sheet metal to connect the cut parts? And how well and how long has it been holding up since the cable is the most used cable?
Since you cut it, is the cable adjusting screw not maxed out anymore?

Sorry for all the questions but it's just good to know someone who has the same problem I do.
