Default anyone know how to adjust the clutch? my clutch grabs near release of clutch pedal, normal?

I was wondering if this was normal?

got a LS with stock clutch and flywheel.

My clutch grabs about 1 inch to where the pedal is about to be released and not pressed.

when i step on the clutch, theres about 1 1/2 centimeter of play. like it bounces.

i can tap it like a bouncing basketball.

anyways, its grabs at the very end? is this normal? it doesnt grab in the middle, but about 1/3 of the way up.

i dont know about hydro dc trannies but for cable da trannies you can adjust the cable to make the clutch grab where ever u want. i can tighten th cable and have the clutch grap real high like most stock cars i driven
i loosen my cable so the clutche grabs at the very bottom of the floor
i dont think you can even adjust hydro trannies
