Default crx sputtering!!

I have a 91 crx hf with a obd0 Jdm b16 swap I was throwing a tps code and I found out my tps was bad so I replaced it and calibrated it to .4 volts. Now when I'm driving at a constant rpm it sputters real bad but when I unplug the tps and drive it it runsgood and doesn't sputter but throw the code and check engine I can't figure it out

I've noticed mine doing this as well. Usually at a constant speed in any gear sitting at about 3k rpm.

supossed to be .5volts, also make sure the 2 outer wires on the tps plug are switched with each other.

Still sounds like the TPS. make sure new one is good.

.45v when plate is closed!
Wide open throttle should be 4.45 or higher

Green=ground(probe with - or black wire on meter)
yellow=5 volt wire
red=throttle position(probe with + or red wire on meter)

thanks I tried that just now the tps is good and the tps reads .45 at idle and 4.6at full throttle but it still sputters when the tps is pluged In. I heard it it might be the fuel to air ratio is off cause my Intake and 2 1/2 in. Exhaust and I might need adjustable fuel regulater?? Idk I've been around hondas for a while and I never heard of anyone with the same problem

Its possibly the fuel to air because mines did the same thing when i had a crack in my power brake booter and i replaced it and the problem went away. and it was throwing a tps code as well. check all the vacuum lines and fuel filter

Did u find the cause for your dismay? I have an 88 with a b16 dropped in it as well and having a similar problem. Im not sure what it is. The motor sputters driving at low rpms or at minimal throttle(when driving), above 3500 rpm its fine. I was thinking it might b my tps, but not sure. Also thought it would be the lack of O2 hooked up(running open loop). I had the ecu chipped and with that some sensors were eliminated. Now my car is running slightly rich(not bad)but still having he same problem. Could it be something in my suspension or axels?

damn, sucks. I would suggest going to a shop. Find a good mechanic that can diagnose the prolem. Its wortless now to take tips(i think). My b16 sputters off/on, but it does no effect the power nor reliability of the motor. I hve been researching like a "mad man" trying to figure this. I decided to have a shop check it out. Erick from ericksracing.com is going to check it out. Im hoping to have a complete -Leak Down and compression test, hopefully in doing so i can my problem. But who knows it could b something with my timing. Let me ask u a question. Does ur car sputter throughout the entire RPM range, or at certain intervals?

Does anyone know the what might be causing my stock 1991 Civic Hatchback DX to sputter? Idle is normal, freeway driving is normal, only sputters while starting from a stop, pretty much in all gears except 5th or while driving on the freeway. No CEL code. Thanks
