Hello,

I am new and I have a 91 civic hatch 174k miles on it and i need some advice.....
My 5th gear sticks when i am sitting still and its hard to get out at times.
My reverse lights and the left side of my dash lights don't work.

That aside, I love the car. I wish i had power steering, but it really doesn't bother me. I would like some advice on what i should do about the bad gas mileage that I'm getting. I have a short ram and also an after market exhaust. which i was told that was the reason. Any suggestions or advice or anything would be helpful.

as for dash lights, probably need to change sum bulbs, ur reverse lights could be the indicater switch mite not be lined up rite, as for gas milage need more info, does it smoke or make any noises, have you checked ur ecu for codes?

my 5th gear sticks a little too so i just take it out of gear before i slow down all the way, or push the shifter towards the passenger seat and its easier to get out. as for mpg, what are you getting? im getting 37 mostly highway and burning about a quart of oil every other tank

I have changed the lights but that doesn't work, but on the right side of the dash i found out that part of the dash cluster didn't have a good ground. So I'm thinking that might be the same for the other side too. now for the reverse lights i have changed the bulbs in them and they still didn't turn on. I am thinking that the connector is bad or something. It smokes a little bit, but no noise. I don't have anyone who has an OBD1 scanner to test for any codes.

When driving it doesn't stick at all when driving, but its at a stand still that it sticks. I can't really tell much about the mpg because with the major oil leak, the short ram, and the 2 different tire sizes (13s up front and 14s in the back).

Now another question i have is, should i stick with the set up i have now (13s up front and 14s on back) or should i go with the same on all 4? If so what size should i keep?
