CRX B16 trouble
I have a 91 CRX HF with a complete JDM B16A swap from hmotors. Everything was put in by a shop and its throwing a code 9(cylinder position sensor). How do i get rid of this? Also when i brought the car home from the shop, i was on the highway doing 60mph and it started cutting out like the injectors and possibly ignition were not firing. Not sure but thats what it acted like. I could push in the clutch and let it idle for a little while then i could resume driving until i had it over 3000 rpm for a little bit...then it would do the same thing. Someone please let me know how to solve these problems.Much appreciated.

either you have a loose connection, or you have a bad distributor..try a known good distributor...or check continuity @ the cyl sensor per a service manual...
I wouldnt drive it with that code present. The car can turn off or stall when you need to accelerate and cause an accident. Fix it and be done with it.

the cyl postion sensor is inside the distributor, check the plugs inside of it, also check the ecu connections/pins...more than likely your distributor is bad being that those sensors on obd 0 dist's always go bad..

no your car will not stall and couse an acedint u just cant drive the car with it red lining at the rpms that is doin the prob but the problem could be that one of your plugs can lose and can be causing the problem maybe a lose ground wire i had the same problem and also was your car previously a dpfi car dual point carb the wiring can be the problem. if it was i suggest u go to the person or shop that wired your car to dubble check the work and corect ur check eng code if they cut the ecu plugs to wire things there make shoure that the wire dont have any play
Basically i need to know if it will hurt anything to drive it around. Because the shop is about 40 miles from me and if it wont hurt anything i was gonna drive it to work. Letme know guys. Thanks

nah it wont hurt anything...its just gonna run really rough if anything...it might stall out on you pretty bad depending on how much the ecu is not reading the signal..
