Default why when i......vtec

what would be causing my car to bog and throw a chekc engine light everytime i ride in vtec for like 5-7 seconds like just keeping it at a steady speed? Itll bog and throw a check engine light and then any other gear right at 6k the car bogs and its like its htiting a rev limiter at 6k

did u check to see if ur oil pressure on the vtec solenoid in working condition? oil level?

oil pressure is AoK...and i havent checked the syleniod yet......its like p1259 somethin like that Vtec system malfunction...i know its malfunctioning but why lol

sounds like knock sensor symptoms..
