what to change to b series swap.
well i just did my first swap. its a 00 civic ex. i put the b18b1 in .what all do i need to get to get a/c and power steering to work. i got the ls bracket and it fits perferct BUT my y8 compressor only fits on two of the four bolts, and it sits so close to the condensor that i can't get the fan in there. trust me i put a whle in the condensor trying to get it to work.THATS JUST ONE OF MANY PROBLEMS.another thing do i got to change my power steering pump or cna i just use it with the b-series bracket??my fuel line the one that connects to the fuel rail has to be changed which i find weird because none of my friends said that they had to change it.
i had to custom make a clutch line.i had to cut the motor mount bracket on the tranny so the started would go in the tranny.which they say should of had good clearance.it might the the hasport mounts that affected it.i know i had to change tw0 out of the three motor mount brackets.the T and the one that goes right under the cams gears becuase the ls one want fit the hasport mounts. ALL I KNOW ITS NOTHING LIKE PUTTING A B-SERIES IN A EG.i can put a b-series in a eg in like a 2 hours. its taken me four days to get this 00 coupe running and it still aint running due to the fuel line.i couldt imagine a k20 swap.

so far you got to change this stuff if you got a soch in a 00 coupe
get si brakets.
b-series a/c compressor
b-series power steering pump
get clutch line extended.
change the fuel line.
get extra hoses for extension
so far thats what i had to change
going power steering and a/c a bitch when you do a swap
