Default ls-vtec power steering

Im putting an ls-vtec in a 94 del sol and currently have a b16 in there. can I use the b16 power steering bracket or do I need to use a bracket off of a gsr or an ls. The power steering pumps are all the same pump which leads me to believe they use the same bracket but thats why im asking. thanks

I am using a 00 SI pump and my EX line that came w/ the car already. I think I am using the LS's brackets. Everything should all bolt up. Just use your brackets from the B16 and you should be straight.

on B series engines the power steering bracket is two pieces. An upper piece that mounts to the head...the lower bracket mounts to the block.

You will use the LS bottom mount bracket and B16 top mount bracket. I had to remove the little thin metal shield thing that connected the two and threw it away. It didn't fit anymore.

if your using a GSR head use the GSR top bracket.

If it's B16 or ITR use the b16 or ITR top bracket

you definatly need a b16 bracket then.

I'm not sure if the obd0 and the obdI/II's were the same or not.

As far as the pump go, going from obdO to obdI i know they switched from v belts to ribbed. But as for the brackets you'll have to search the archives. I'm not familiar with obd0 b16's
