Default Vtec not kicking in

I just recently put in a Greddy E-manage and i tuned the Vtec to boot in at 5200rpm and it worked just fine, so i punched in some more fuel and opened up the injectors more etc. and i went for a test pull, and no Vtec. I had a 22error code coming on right when i hit 9000rpm ( oil pressure code ). My oil is topped up past the top dot a bit, and i did a scan of the engine, and no oil leaks etc. The engine is a 94 JDM b16a obd1. I have a new solonoid on order, but maybe anyone might have any input for my problem. I had the solonoid apart and checked the screen etc. and it looks mint.

Any idea's for my problem would be greatly appreciated so i stop this problem from happening again. Thanks

well 22 is the pressure switch. make sure it is wired up correctly and if it is, swap it out with a known good one.

What have you done to your engine to withstand 9,000 RPM?

Check your oil level.

Are you getting this professionally tuned or are you doing this on your own?
