Tps problem
Okay, I have a H22 in my 97 civic. Recently I had idle problems and I replaced the TPS sensor and fixed the problem. now my CEL is on and throwing the TPS code. The strange thing is when my cel is not on the car idles and dies but when the cel is on the car idles perfectly fine. So Do I have a faulty tps sensor, could it be the wiring, Should I check the voltage. There's nothing wrong wit the car jus I hate thate CEL light being on.

Re: Tps problem
I didnt have them switch. The car was running fun with no CEL when I had it but when I replace the TPS the CEL came on. The car runs great with perfect idles but I don't get why it is throwing a code for TPS sensor.
