Default TPS sensor CEL code......

I just got a code 7 for my em1 which is the tps. I just got engine freshly rebuilt so its a new engine basically so i only have 15 miles on this rebuild. i was driving and the CEL popped up. the car doesnt drive any different, i made sure to check if it was plugged in right. My question is: How will this affect my car...will it eventually start driving bad or is there a fix to this? Should i try to replace it as soon as possible, so i guess i can buy a used one from someone.

i had erratic idle when my tps was throwing a cel. when the cel was on it idled high all the time.

its really easy to adjust.

you need to loosen the screws on the back (might have to cut slits to loosen them)

then use a voltometer and attach the positive to the middle wire (red wire)

and the ground to a ground. Turn the tps until it reads .45v closed throttle and 4.55 wide open throttle.
