Replaced TPS. CEL still on???
My ecu was throwing code 7 when the car warmed up. When I shut it down for a split second while driving the CEL disapeared and I continued to drive. I changed the TPS and now the friggin CEL still comes on after about a minute or two from when I start my car. I reset the ecu as well. I think my ecu is running in limp mode now, and I'm losing power.. What gives? Any suggestions??? Thanx!

Did you apply the new TPS sensor exactly how the previous sensor was? the thing is, this sensor is adjustable, so you might have to play with it. Try setting it in the middle and go from there...
also if you look at the orginal TPS upclose, there should be an outline from dirt film around where the screws washers meet the slotted area on the TPS. Try to match that with the new TPS....
I know it sounds confusing, but if you have your original TPS handy take a look at the slotted area and see if you can see an outline of where the washers were.
