Torn/Stripped Engine Mount
I have an engine mount in my EK which has been ripped off the chasis by the tranny.
Pictured below is #8.
One stud has fallen off which the remaining one is a loose tooth.
My question is what to do? Weld? Retap? BTW, this is causing extreme vibration during acceleration. TIA.

Why not play it safe and buy a new mount and bolt it in? If my mount ripped any (other then the insert) i would replace it ASAP!

I already have the new replacement, but the chasis is stripped where the mount bolts on to.

Re: Torn/Stripped Engine Mount (EK22snatch)
The front bolt is still good, the rear is busted. What I did today is got the rear of the mount welded to the chasis. This definitely was the problem of the shaking, but it still shakes at fast acceleration or high speed.
Should I go back to the welder and tell him to put another chunk of weld on the mount? Or could it be a diffferent mount?
