Default motor mount insert replacement techniques..

hey guys, i was curious to know if any of you have any special techniques to replacing the rubber motor mount inserts?

what i'm replacing is the front mount, and the transmission mount (on left side of engine when facing the firewall)...

me and my uncle are going to do it and i just wasnt sure on exactly how hard it will be. i know when we unbolted the transmission side it didnt come out.. so idk if we did something wrong or forgot to remove a bolt/nut

this is on a 1991 LS Auto

TIA

i had to drop my tranny alittle bit to get that mount out...other than that the front and engine side mount was pretty easy.

so droping it and not lifting it will take out the passanger side mount?

then on the front one, does that one just come out or is it more than likely going to be stuck

u only need to take out the long bolt in the front and u should be able to slip the inserts in...u might be able to lift it and get it out but i know dropping will work
