standed 99 civic vti-s lost all peformance wont go past 110mph
could any one help. ive got a 1.8 civic vtis and the car suddenly lost its power with lots of noise from the cat, the v-tech would kick in but know power with it. so i had the cat replaced today. then took the car out to find i still have no power. could anybody help?

please can anyone help i have all the sound of the vtec but no *****, i have no engine light on and it will still rev to 8250 but no power. its doing my head in

what does your oil look like?? have you pulled the valve cover off? lash the valves.
compression test??? burn much oil??

ive just put new oil in it to weeks ago (0/40 castrol sport edge) does'nt burn it up. valves are bit ticky, ive booked in to honda to check valve clerence. it just seem to happen at the same time the cat went. all in the last 4 days. plus the sound of the vtec is louder.
