Default lacking power

My car suddenly staretd to lack power and doesnt pull good when vtec kicks, doesnt even sound as oud either. Thought id replace my clutch and flywheel, but still no luck??? im so confused and dnt know whast going on. i got good compression. and oil and oil pressure. someone said it could be your cat? cuz mine is old. could that be lacking all this power and holding me back? please help, ive been all over the place. thanks!

Yeah, could be the cat, could be a failed timing belt tensioner, etc... No check engine lights?

Sounds like something isnt working right

It could be your cat if its just clogged.

Or mabey clogged fuel injectors

Sounds like your secondary runners are not opening up or working properly, which is why your not getting increased sound.

What do the secondaries have to do with the VTEC solenoid?

Check for a Vaccum leak. My buddies car did the same thing.

near camden. and nah not no figment of my imagination. My car used to pull so good, and now its lacking so bad.

Its fine. checked my oil. temp and pressure. injectors. and i guess im gnna try to mess with my exhaust. to see if it could be that. ill let yah all know. i appreciate it
