Default Question on 99 si swap in to a 92 hatch

I was wondering what extra parts do I need to swap a 99 si swap into my 92 dx hatch? Am I going to need new axles etc... or it should just bolt up?

Wiring harness and ECU will be the biggest pain. I rechipped the P28 ECU to run the DOHC fuel and timing. I used an Integra Type R (1998 I think) engine harness. You use the Civic Si axles, and if you want to keep a/c you'll need the del Sol VTEC a/c mount. I don't know about shift linkages for you......

So I wouldn't need new mounts? The ones on the si motor will work or my old ones? Should it just mount straight up?

i think you'll need the gsr rear mount... and some kind of obd1 engine wire harness, preferably one already with vtec harnesses.... i don't think the 98 type-r harness will cause its obd2.... you could use your old a/c compressor without the del sol dohc compressor mount, but you'll only be able to bolt up two bolts... it worked fine for me before.... hope this helps, l8rz

p.s. to make it truly plug n play, use a obd1 distributor, injectors, and alternator...

you can use your stock rear motor mount. youll need to replace the rear bracket with one from a del sol vtec b/c the 99 si bracket wont line up with your stock motor mount. i used my stock 94 civic ex wiring harness.
