Default Oil Pressure Still High.. any thoughts?

Whats up everyone, i posted not too long ago asking opinions as to why my oil pressure and idle seemed to creep up and stay at a steady 25-30 psi warm and idle is steady at 1200-1500 rpms warm...i changed my oil and filter and cleaned my iacv with brake cleaner as sombody suggested but still the same...idle will slow down to about 500-600rpms sometimes. but as for the oil pressure i havent seen it drop below 25psi...i have a b18b1...Someone also suggested to check for a vaccuum leak?? is there any short cuts in doing so? any help would be greatly appreciated..TIA.

as far as your idle, IDK, mine is set to about 800 rpms on idle. and that's a b16a. try adjusting your idle, there is a screw on the T/B, also check your throttle cable.
as for your oil pressure, what's it suppose to be at? i don't have a gauge so i wouldn't really know.

On my other post someone replied with no more than 10 psi at idle and warm, that was for a b16..i've tried searching for what b18's should be at and havent come across it yet...so to be honest i really dont know either...thats what im trying to figure out...

IDK, i alwys thought alittle higher oil psi wouldn't hurt. i was watching my "legend of the type r" dvd the other day, and they had the owner of spoon, and he was talking about tips to boost oil pressure. that's why i would have thought alittle oil boost wouldn't hurt.

so in all actuality it wont hurt the motor or hurt me performance wise, thats my biggest concern, im a bit paraniod as it is, staring at that gauge is alittle nerve racking sometimes.

the worst i can think can happen is after awhile it'll take it's toll on the gaskets and seals. but i can still be wrong.

Wouldn't your pressure be high if you have excessive blow by? How's your compression numbers?

i dont think that would cause that because that pressure would blow through the PCV... i think pressure relief valve on the pump is stuck
