Just picked up a b18b for a 98 civic check it out, and let me know what else i need
I'll have images a little later my roomate had been wanting to do an LS swap in his 98 civic lx for a while now we came across a b18a1 block crank rods pistions and a b1 head and intake manifold for 300bux so we picked it up im going to send the block crank and head off the machine shop to get cleaned and polished up maybe balanced and blueprinted. In the meantime i was wondering if anyone has done this swap or knows what else ill need ive been told not to use oem PR4 bearings and we will probably get some eagle rods and a some lower comp pistions for a turbo setup. i dont know what i should do for cams and valvetrain wise or if the b1's stock setup will be good for 10-15psi also what axels should i use and since we didnt get a tranny which B series tranny has the best gearing for turbo.
Any other ideas input would be appreciated Thanks guys.

i'm pretty sure the gsr or the si trannies would be good, but that depends on what you want your car for... if it's speed and acceleration, you will want one of these.... gsr is a bit better for highway use....fyi but the ls tranny will work just fine, and it's cheaper

thnx for the reply, what about axels ? and will all the civic mounts work or will i need one from an LS. Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between the A1 & B1 heads?
edit: also what about the linkage?
