Default rods

i was going originally with a p72 turbo build but since changed my mind and am going w/ ls vtec w/ b16 head my question is will my scat rods for the b18c1/c5 block work with b18b block or will i need to replace the rods to b18b spec. thanks any info would be great thanks

The rods need to match the crank but there should not be any need to change rods because you switched the head.

thanks for the reply i just changed the post but from what you say about the crank i will have to change rods because i am using an eagle crank for the b18b thanks for the reply

you have to use the rod that matches the crank youre using if you just want to use off the shelf parts, no custom parts.

if you're using the B18A/B crank you have to use the B18A/B rod. The b18C rod length is a 5.430 and the LS is a 5.394 Not using the matching rod with either have your pistons sit above the block deck or sit way below it.
