Huge problem - axle broken off in transmission
Hey guys I have a 95 honda del sol si with a b16 swap and im having problem with my axles. I got my driver side axle off but only half of it came out....the other half is in my tranny. I got the bolts of the subjoint connector thats bolted to the engine but i cant get the end off. I went to advanced auto and they said that the 95 honda del sol vtec axles will work perfect that all i have to do is pop the end off....but for some reason the end isnt coming off...we have beat on it for an hour or more and nothing. Anyone got any info on what to do? All is appreciated. thanks

Well ****, that's nothing. Just remove it like you normally would remove an axle. You can't just grip the shaft and pull - you have to get a crow bar wedged between the transmission housing and the CV joint, and apply gradual pressure.

i have had it off the car. its the bolts that is hold it in place with the end going into the transmission i have beat the hell out of it and its just stuck. Ive tried using a pry bar but they arent setting in they are just slipping right out. the half shaft is whats left.
