Default Once again, needs help with axle seals.

Well first off. After blowing the single slammer i finished the b16 swap.
After being fed up with the dizzy wiring I had a shop go ahead and wire it all up.

Shes running great!

Heres my problem, the Axles it came with were too large for my spindles. So i went and ordered 95 Del sol axles from vatozone and the spines fit my spindles perfectly. They also took a smaller axle nut than the other ones that came with the swap. Now the passenger side axle seal is leaking. Question is there a different size axle seal that i need? Or is it possible that i damaged the current seal?

Just my work car, daily buster so im trying to fix this asap.
Bad picture but for those who care to see.

A number of things are possible. Exactly which B16 are you using?

And it looks like you put the motor in a 99-00 Civic, is that right?

Get new axle seals for a 99-00 SI. Either the ones you have are damaged, or they're the wrong size - either way, new (and correct) seals will fix the problem.

Yes in a 00 civic.

This swap came out of a 1997 civic. The axles that were in it did not leak, but when i went to use them they did not fit in my spindle.
Did they make different size axle seals? Or maybe these auto zone axles are just junk and the diameter maybe too small.

I know the 96-00 Type R came with a larger spindle, but I'm not sure about the earlier SiR's. What you're saying makes it pretty clear that the previous owner of the swap had Type R hubs, thus why those axles wouldn't fit your hub, but to the best of my knowledge the inner hubs were still the same size.

I'm leaning much more towards ripped axle seals than towards a bad axle. However, it wouldn't hurt to compare the old axles that don't work with the new axles you bought.

Yep it did have a full 5 lug swap with rear disk brakes and larger front brakes.

I mean the side of the axle that slides into my spindle is obviously smaller because it fit and used a smaller axle nut. However I did not think to compare to the older axles because I didnt think Honda made two different sized axles (side that slides into trans) but apparently they do.

Unfortunately i threw away the old axles they were ruined anyway.
Iv already ordered a OEM seal and will begin there. If they problem does not go away i guess i need to go with 99-00 SI axles and spindles i have from swap.
I have the old spindles that were used previously but i did not use them on my car because they have a 5 lug hub on them. I didnt want to do the swap to 5 lug yet because i do not have wheels.

For all i know the shop that finished the swap for me filled the MTF with the car unlevel and over filled it majorly or the shop tore it up bad.
They wired up the dizzy and tach and also put that axle in for me so i have no knowledge of how ruff it was installed.

:edit- called previous owner. car had ITR swap spindles and hubs.:

Could i press in 99-00 SI hubs into those spindles?
That way i could keep my 4 lug but run the larger axles? Thus having mathing trans to matching axle if i needed to do so?

The EM1 hubs are the same size as every other USDM 96-00 Civic. The Type R hub is the only different one. Compare the inner shaft of the CTR axles that came with your swap against whatever axles you have on the car right now.
