I just learned of the Kenji's about a month ago because I run OBDII and pay less attention to OBDI, but it seems as most people couldn't live without it. I don't think you can compare it to Hondata because of it being tunable.

Search for info on his chipped OBD1 ecu's.

There are LOTS of topics about them out there. I'm using one and I love it.

Nameless, did you use a seperate contoller to map the fuel curve or are you just using the kenji unit?

Mine goes ont he dyno this Saturday. I'm using one of his milder programs in a hondata-socketed p28. Even if I pick up 1whp I'll be thrilled. The bigger deal will be being able to set my camgear overlap without having the car stall and throw CEL's.

As for service, Kenji is He answers e-mails and he answers your questions. The guy deserves all the props he gets.

Pretty sure he just has pre-set maps. I got a milder one in the interest of preserving fuel mileage. If it's too mild, it's easy enough to re-chip w/ hondata socket

The only thing I'm starting to notice with my kenji p28 is that I don't feel it pulling as hard from 3-4,300 rpms. I'm sure it could be fixed by a piggy back of some kind, it's not a big deal at all. The ecu is still a big improvement over stock.
