i have a mugen chipped ecu and i just ordered hondata s200 but the shop said i needed a regular ecu for it... what exactly does the "chipped ecu" part mean? and how much could i sell this chip for so i can buy a regular p72 for my '94 gsr. thanks

(as you can all clearly see, i know next to nothing about computer and ecu programming )

i guess your shop doesn't know how to convert chipped ecu's into hondata ecu's... it can be done... i had a skunkII ecu converted into a hondata s100 (s200 is basically the same thing only the module is external)...

yea the shop wasn't that great at soldering and they didn't want to run the risk of frying my whole ecu... id just rather use an oem ecu, but i'm still curious as to what exactly the "chipped" part means
