HELP: High fuel PSI!
I have a 92 CX Hatch with a 1st generation B16A. It is running a chipped p28. I got the annoying fuel PSI of 80-90. I’m getting the reading from my PSI gauge connected to the fuel filter. I’m taking it into a shop tomorrow, but I don’t want to, I never do. This is the only thing that has stumped me.
Someone told me to look for a kink in the return line, no kink. I tried stock rail and regulator, still the really high PSI, different octane doesn’t help. The only thing I can think of is that I’m running the stock CX injectors, which I was told to do.
I bought a resistor box and setup when I installed the engine, that’s when it didn’t work and I had to try the stock injectors, which did work. Thanks Waffles. Anyway, to get power to the injectors I cut the wires and tapped them to a power source like the picture below.
Please I need some urgent help before I fork over money which I could spend on drugs and women… Just kidding, but serious, any help would rule!

if you are running cx (odb1) injectors GET RID OF THE INJECTOR RESISTOR BOX!!!
cx injectors are the same as b16 both are 240 injectors....
see if ditching that box fixxes your problem

hry bro are you running a B&M gauge? I ask because sometimes the gauges break on them and give false readings.
How is your fuel economy compared to before you saw teh Pressure rise? Aside froma kink, which you obviously know it is not, I'm stumped. IM me...maybe we can try to figure it out since I helped you a lot before.
edit, as mentioned above...try ditching the resistor box...thats all i can think of mang.

Sorry, I didn't explain myslef too well. I'm not running the resistor box anymore. Thanks for the input!

I have really bad MPG, something like 8-12 on a stripped hatch with B16A.
I also have a A/F gauge, it is CONSTANTLY rich, never does is drop a green bar.
When I go above 4K RPMs, unburned gas comes out the exhaust!
So yeah, bad gas miliage.
Waffles, you have the same setup as me, how the hell did you wire you're injectors, I did not have a plug to wire mine. I'll try to post a pic of what I did, hold on...
*EDIT* we-todd-it-racing is down agian... Damnit, can't post the pic right now, but what I did was connect all the inector power wires off the harness to one yellow wire off the power 12v power supply in the pictures above. Red dot on the power supply.

Ok...my thoughts are
A) wiring issue...rewire first and see how it goes.
B)Check fuel pump, possibly wiring there, or maybe the pump freaked out on you.
C)ECU problem(which I doubt, but it's possible.)
If you remember man, the injector wiring was the only thing I didn't have a part in on my swap, as all the wiring stuff scares me and I like to save it for someone who knows what they are doing.

Do you happen to have a close-up picture of your engine bay?
That might be a huge help.
