Default h22 problem HELP!!!

so i let my brother a couple of days ago drive my car. On the freeway a mustang pulled up beside us and wanted to race. So we did and beat him the first time. Then the mustang pulled up beside us and wanted to race again. So we do. We were at third gear at about 7 rpm and when my brother shifts he shifted back to 2nd. So we pulled over because i thought he blew my engine. The car didn't rev past 4 grand. But after i shut it off for 5 mins it was all fine. Later that night we were driving and now my car would jerk and it would feel like it would die about every 400 feet. And the check engine light would turn on.. Does anyone know what might be the problem.

so im running a chip p28. and the code that was reading was code 20 according to my friend. I put his ecu in for about 10 mintues and drove it and it was fine. Then i switched back to my ecu and it was fine for about an hour drive. I parked my car inside my garage for about 2 hours and when i turned it on it was idling werid and wouldn't rev pass 4 grand. Oh yeah and my air/feul ratio says i'm running rich. Some one said it could be the timing belt when i miss shifted and that its not aligned or it can be my ecu. do you think thats the problem?? any ideas

Thanks
