Default h22 ek thread

I just want to see what you guys with h22 ek hatch's have done and your track times. I'm thinking about buying another ek hatch and maybe wanna do an h22 swap in it and just wanna see what track times you guys have and your mod list and about what your gas mileage is for daily driver. I would probably at first do a stock h22 with a header intake and exhaust and would like to know what track times i'd be looking at and what my gas mileage would be around i'm a pretty good driver and the car would have full interior and probably skunk 2 coilovers with skunk 2 front and rear camber kit. Thanks alot

you can get a b16 for about the same price as a h22 but you easily get more power from the b-series

b16 max out around 250 NA, h22 max out around 350 NA. mix things up a bit,
get h22 with b16 tranny and h2b kit, stock h2b goes 13's quarter mile stock

The onyl reason i didn't wanna go b series is cause i can get this swap for cheap and its already got work done to it. Its got a complelty built and ported head with stage 2 cams it just need's a good tune cause the guy i'm buying it from got a chipped ecu for turbo then decided not to turbo it. So all it need's is the tune to be completly different for all motor. But how much hp can a stock h22 bottom end hold? like the sleeve's cause i was thinking about getting some high compression pistons like 11.5.1. or even 12.1. The H22 trans is geared short already so i wouldn't need the b16 trans at like 60mph the kid said it runs at about 3500 maybe a little less lol, And he siad its got an lsd in it.
