No, no no. I Think you'd be best off with a B18 or something. I'm still not convinced by the recent rhetoric renouncing the long standing opinions about the H22 in anything other than an accord or 'lude. I still believe they are heavily motors designed for larger cars. A b18 is ample power for a civic and will certainly possess the ability to outpace an H22 powered EJ. Also, I HIGHLY doubt the H22 will net better gas milage...

I agree with Ice, it's a swap not really meant for the Civic's convienace.
Those who have done it enjoy them (and i respect them for putting in the effort for the swap). But here's what i've learned about H22's. They are quite a bit more expensive than B18's, you have to remove the A/C (or else the engine bay will not fit it) which i would find to be a pain, and as to where to get it, Hmotors.com is the only place i would trust fully.
Also, just as a tip, use the Search feature, i'm sure there has to be a thread on this already, but don't sweat it. We all do it.
Good luck, and if you're heart-set on an H22, get it, it's your car and your build. Don't forget that. As for a full list of parts, etc. I would hit up someone with an H22 setup on the forum (an easy sign is "H22" in the username).
Best of luck man!

I'll tell you this much, h22a4 motor has treated me great. I personally have it in my 99 prelude. Throwing one of those motors in a ek would be pretty cool for the light body and 220hp to your front wheels. I've heard lots of people doing k swaps but h22a are notorious for blowing rear main seals from what I've delt with

Your better off doing a B20 Vtec! a simple B20V with bolt ons will make a EK fly! and you have the TQ from a 2.0L!
