Default GSR in my 92 cx

I got my 98 gsr in my 92 cx hatch. I'm using the cx harness, not everything plugs up. I already cut and spliced the injectors, i repinned the distributor, im not to sure about the alternator though, the plugs were different and the wires were different colors, i need some help on that if anyone has done it before or has a schematic for me. Othere than that everything is in and ready to go, just have to run the 7 wires that arent on the cx harness that are nessacry for the gsr.

Dude!

USE the GS-R harness - it PLUGS right into the Civic harness on your right soide strut tower area!

Then you can use the GS-R injectors and distributor.

I've done 3-4 swaps where the engine was a B18C1 or B18C5 with the "OBDII" harness and I PROMISE you it all plugs in. You will have a few extra plugs left over on the Teg harness, because they have ABS and a few extra sensors, but it will be fine.

From there just find an OBDI 1994-1995 P72 GS-R ECU and you will still be OBDI and there will be no need for a jumper harness and an OBDII P72 from the 1996-up GS-R.

Did you even try to plug in the Integra engine harness?

No need to "cut and splice" anything bro!

Try it - you'll thank me later

I did try using the obd 2 harness and it worked, i was just scared that i would fry something. Never heard of anyone being able to plug obd2 into a obd1 car. Ive already cut up the harness, that ****** sucks. Anyone have a obd2 harness laying around?

that sux man.. its the ecu that makes its obd 1 or obd 2 not the engine.. i would suggest tryin to rewire the engine harness and go from there.. it will be hard to get a complete engine harness for a good price.. lots of places leave it intact for swap reasons.. if you use the obd2 engine harness w/ an obd1 ecu there is no need to adjust the distrubitor or anything else.. and since you got a 92 cx all the wires are there for vtec making it more easy.. all you will need to do is run wires for the knock sensor and the secondary butterflys.. this is not hard at all and lot easier thatn what you have already done..
