D16Y7 Intake Manifold
What intakes are a direct bolt on for the D16Y7 motor? I have a 1997 Civic CX HB and I want to upgrade from the stock intake. I have seen the D16Y8 intake manifold installed on a D16Y7 with good results. Are there any other intakes that are an easy swap for improved performance?

throw a b20z giraffe intake mani on there, you'll have to trim out a place in the hood for it, but it will make all the camaro boys jealous.
Actually either the d16y8 or like a venom or HP racing mani would be my suggestion.

i'm running a z6 (92-95ex/si) intake manifold on my y7 right now, i'm happy with it, although i will probably switch to the y8 manifold. my ride is a 99 cx so pretty much the same as yours, if u want a big improvement in performance swap your tranny for the ex trans it made a big difference in mine.

a 92-95 ex manifold will fit and a 96-00 manifold will fit, it will give you more hp.
i got an 92-95 ex manifold w/tb and all sensors fs if you want
