Default Help with jdm gsr swap into CX hatch

Im doing a gsr swap into my cx hatch and ran into a few problems. First off, on the wiring harness coming off my motor, there are four plugs, but when I went to plug it up into my stock cx harness going into the firewall, I realized that the cx harness going into the firewall only has 3 plugs. So now I have 1 extra plug coming off the engine harness just hanging there and cant figure out whether its a dead plug or if i need to wire it to something. Any help is appreciated~

thanks

are you trying to use the harness of the jdm gsr?

i think it would be easier to use the cx one and then just wire up vtec

I tried searching and there is a lot of information on the swaps, but nothing is mentioned about the wiring harness, and my problems with it. As for the harness, i have a usdm obd1 gsr harness. Basically my last resort is to use my stock cx harness, due to the fact that i dont want to have to go through the trouble with wiring the vtec. If any of u guys know which harness will plug up clean and proper, let me know. thanks for the help~

PEACE

no... the 96+up civic's have a 1 piece harness. you would have to use your current harness or use a 96+up ex harness.

So if I used my 96 ex harness on a obd2 jdm gsr, I wouldn't have to change anything on it, just plug it all in then hook it into the ecu?
