I tried searching but didn't get any good results. I'm not trying to get every last HP right now so anything over stock 0 degrees timing is helpfull. I've got

Stock cam right now. What's a decent timing to set the cam gear to for a little extra HP. I thought that I read like +2.5 or so. Is that 2 degrees at the cam so 2.5 marks on the cam gear. I've also read people saying retard it 2 degrees. Which one is better advanced or retard.

sorry, this may not help but keep it at 0 until you can throw her up on a dyno. IMO. this way you dont run the risks of messing the motor up, and you will know where you started and where you went with your tuning.

My D16Y8 is advanced +2 degrees. Didn't feel a difference.

I think I lost power.

OEM box w/ K&N, DC 4-1, Ground wires, Greddy SP(steel), nology hotwires, Cam Gear +2 degree advance.

Reminder~! mine is a Auto.



Now I have AEM SRI and etc installed since then.
