Check Engine Lights after Installing ALternator
i have a 2000 honda civic si with a GSR b18c1 motor swap in it.
Just changed my front brakes the net day,
my speedometer stopped working, as well as my odometer.
The day after that my alternator died,
so i changed my alternator and battery over 300 dollars later.
SO now i realized i have 6 check engine light codes -_-
-P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction
-P1298 Electrical Load Detector Circuit High Input
-P0135 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
-P1337 CSF Sensor No Signal
-P0141 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
-P1456 EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Tank System)
I have realized my "alternator Sp sensor" fuse is blown. When i replace it, it blows again
the car hesitates at 3k sometimes
any ideas?

Re: Check Engine Lights after Installing ALternator
You need to find out if your vss is kaput (more than likely)or maybe the wiring is nicked/cut, fixing this would eliminate the vss malfunction code and get your speedo and odomeeter working again.
What made you believe that your alternator had died?
Although its possible that your new alternator is defective and maybe has a short in it. But then again maybe the problem was not the alternator to begin with.

Re: Check Engine Lights after Installing ALternator
alright guys i got half of it fixed i guess. One of my oxygen sensor wires was grounding out on my axle. After i simply moved the o2 wire off the axle, the fuse works(not blowing after i put it in) and my speedo works. Just by doing that im down to 2 codes left. P01337, my crankshaft senor and P1456 for the EVAP.

Re: Check Engine Lights after Installing ALternator
i bought a new crankshaft fluct sensor and installed it, little did i know the wire harness going to it was the real problem. One of the female ends was pushed back so there was no connection at the harness. i just pushed it back together and fixed it
