More Problems With My Car (my speedo stopped working)
I was driving along and made a left turn I look up at my gauges and my speedo stoped working and my check engine light went on. The speedo is not marking the miles I go also. Hopefully its nothing big . Any good advice would help.

Check your VSS.
EDIT: The VSS is your vehicle speed sensor. It's in your transmission. If you need more help finding it let me know.

Just as I suspected. Get down there, unplug the VSS and try to replug it. I have seen some of them come slightly loose.
Try that before you find a new one.

CHECK YOUR ALTERNATOR FUSE!
The vss, alternator, and second O2 sensor are on the same relay (for my car anyways 99 civic). I had the same symptoms and my alternator fuse blew. I got stuck with a dead battery coming home from work one night.
All I did was unplug my secondary O2 sensor and every was fine again. Haven't had the time or nice weather to find the actual cause of this problem. My friend told me though that it could be as simple as a loose plug or a short in the circuit.
Good Luck!
