boost creep.... ahhhh
ok i bought the peak boost turbo kit for my gsr hatch, its fully built with big cams, and we cant get my boost controller to work, it is the ec tune solenoid and we cant get it to work right, we took it completly off and it stayed at 7 (which is the wastegate spring) but when i popped vtec it bounces to 16 or as high as 18, i am running open down pipe, could it be cause i have no back pressure?? or is the tial waste gate that came with the kit is to small??? what do you think??

Ok, well when running turbo you dont much back pressure at all. What mm is you Tial w/g? The 38mm w/g come from the factory with a spring that for like 7.8psi. How big is your turbo, and what mm is your w/g. Boost creep wont just spike psi, it'll be a slow rise. Which leads me to think your solenoid/stepper valve. Is it wired correctly, and your vac. lines right?

it is a tial 38mm wastegate, and it is wired right and the vacuum is all right as well. it idles at 800 perfect, and i have a t3/t04 garrett turbo 63a/r 57 exh
