Default Too Much Boost

I installed turbo in my car and i can never keep the boost low... I got some ebay boost controller that doesnt even work.

The boost keeps going past 5 psi.. i want it to be at 5 psi. I installed the weakest wastegate spring and i still got past 6 psi... SHould i take out the wastegate spring?

I am guessing this is an external wastegate if your changing springs? It sounds like something is hooked up wrong. Could be the boost controller as well. Does it happen without the boost controller on?

You said you installed the, "weakest wastegate spring", which one did you install? Which wastegate are you running?

Tial makes springs all the way down to 3.6 psi, which could even yield less if you have the signal coming directly from the compressor port.

You said you want to run 5 psi and the boost won't hold below 6? Why not just be happy with 6 psi?

where did you get the vacuum source from, maybe a problem with the vacuum source connection to the wastegate.

Well.
A, sound like he's running a drag turbo kit
B, he's running the **** *** deltagate,

get used to the creep. if you dont swap out the wg for a tial its gonna cree no matter what. the deltagate has a horrible valve lift ratio and combine that with the one runner placement of the wg and its a recipe for creep
