Vacume Line routing
I've been reading HT for about a year now, and I finally got my Turbo last week. Very Helpful forum. Here's my Question...The shop that installed my F-Max turbo kit did some strange vacume line routing. I have a TurboXS manual boost controller. From all the Pics I've seen, the guys that have boost controllers have a hose from the top of the Wastegate to the Boost Controller. Well, From the TurboXS I have one hose connected to the bottom of the Wastegate (Tial) and the other to the Nipple on the Turbo. It seams to work because when I first drove it I hit 10Psi....so I adjusted it down to 8. The spring on the wastegate is .65bar (9.4psi I guess). Anyways, is this configuration OK?

You should not be able to turn the boost level lower than your WG spring, no matter if you have a controller connected. Your spring must be lower than 9.4psi, or your boost meter might be off a psi or two.

Re: Vacume Line routing (Vanilla Ic3)
Ya, I figured I had a little drop in pressure from the intercooler...and maybe the guage is off a little too. But is the boost controller connected properly?
