b16 revving funny while accelerating in my EM1
my b16 in my em1 is goin on 77thousand miles and its just now started to develop a little bit of a weird rev thing. as i accelerate it kind of skips while im revving it high.
its hard to explain, but its like it revs all the way to 8, but every 1000 RPMs (guesstimation) or so on the way up it kinda skips a beat and revs through but stops putting power down to the wheels for a second and it kinda slightly makes the car jerk a little from the loss of power as its accelerating. it almost feels like a slight tap on the break or putting the clutch in a little bit while accelerating. it sorta just takes the power away from a second, its like it skips some rpms.
ive mostly noticed it happening is 2nd and 3rd gear. and it will do it two or three times a gear while accelerating. could it possibly be my tranny fluid? i know its been due for a change for a little while.. or could it be something else?
sorry if my explanation is hard to read or understand, just got home and im tired, about to go to bed, and i wanted to post this up so i could maybe have some ideas by morning. any helpful input is appreciated, thanks a lot

Well I can tell you right now what you're describing is the text book description of a clutch that's slipping .
If the clutch wasn't broken in properly it could have had its lifespan lowered.

that will help once you check the code and see what it is you can then start to diagnose your problem, you seem to maybe have a slipping clutch, and another problem or
your clutch is fine and this check is whats causing all the problems you currently have...
