95 DX - D15 to B16A / Auto to Manual Swap - Are there any surprises?
So now I've learned in my other thread that the transmission mounts either have to be moved back 3 inches or I need to find specific special mounts, which if anyone knows where I can find them I really need to find them. Are there any other surprises I need to be aware of for this swap?

here what i did on a recent swap on a customers car..
1- buy the HCP auto-manual mount from jdmshit.com $130shipped
2- took the pedal assembly off a manual civic from the junkyard $50
(includes clutch, brake and gas pedals)
3- grab the clutch master cyl as well (the chassis already has the hole)
4- pick up 4 feet of -4 braided line and the proper fittings (show your fitting shop the pipe thread fittings for your clutch slave)
everything else is pretty cake, just unbolting all the pedals from the car (pain in the rear) and bolting on the new stuff. then bleeding it

Re: 95 DX - D15 to B16A / Auto to Manual Swap - Are there any surprises? (chameleon)
Well the thing is I'm doing to be ordering the engine from Cali having it shipped here with everything. And will be doing the install with a couple of my buddies. They're really the resident Honda experts but haven't done a swap of this nature on an EG, all their work is on an EK but they offered to help and do the swap so I'm investigating all of the issues.
So far from what the place I'm ordering the engine will include I know I need to buy the HCP Mount, the pedal assembly the place said they'd sell me, I have to talk to the place about the master cylinder, and now I know I need the braided line, also the place said they'll give me an A/C bracket.
Are there any other things I should look out for?

nope i pretty much nailed the physical part about it. you will need a shift linkage and drill the 2 holes to mount the linkage, also after you rip out the entire auto shifter assembly there will be a big plug cut the one off the auto shifter and jump the thick wires, this makes the car be in "park" always so you can turn the car on. and just for looks you need the manual cluster or cover up the auto lights.

Can you recommend any places where I can get the complete change over? So far I've found $2250 for it

i have the clutch pedal assembly with mouting bracket, master cyl, all hardlines in perfect shape and slave cyl from a 92 vx hatch im selling right now. i think i was asking like 125 plus shipping. this is everything you need. aside from you know the linkage and tranny and whatnot which im sure you will get with your swap. if you want it let me know.

Will it all fit on my 95 DX? If it will then e-mail me at origyns@gmail.com and we can work out the payment and shipping ect.

me and my buddies did the swap on my eg...On the pedals all we did was remove the big automatic brake pedal and swapped in the smaller pedal and bolted in the clutch pedal. The bracket for the pedals are the same. I think its a lot easier than removing the whole pedal assembly.
