Default Can I chip my OBDII ECU???

Call me a noob or whatever, and YES I HAVE SEARCHED!!! No definitive answer. I have a 1996 Civic HB DX, I am going to be using TurboEdit with a DIY Turbo Kit. And if I cant chip my ECU, what ECU would I have to convert to??? I am assuming that OBD2 is unable to be chipped, if I am wrong please tell me.

A lot of people like to get the obd2 to obd1 jumper harness and run a p28 which is probably the most chipped ecu out there.

Ok, from the responses it looks like i need an ob2 to an obd1 jumper harness. now can i use my same ECU and chip that, or would i need a different one. and if i need a different one, which one should i use? keep in mind im not running VTEC.

you cant chip a obd2 ecu ( the one you have). you have to get a obd1 ecu and chip it to run what ever you want. turboedit, uberdata, etc...
