93 DelSol has Vtec engine code but no Vtec head???
A buddy of mine had just got a DelSol and its a 93 SI. The motor does not have the Vtec valve cover, but the code is D16z6. We are wondering if the motor has been touched or if certain years didnt have the vtec cover??? We are mainly trying to figure out if it does have Vtec cause he wants to do a swap and we need to know if the Vtec wires are already ran??? Also are all of the SOHC VTEC ecus p28?

Oh.
My 95 EX (D16Z6) just says Honda.
Look for the VTEC solenoid (as was posted, it should be on the top left of your valve cover when looking at it from the front).
Right next to the distributor (closer to the firewall).
