1997 EK Hatch DX, Muffler Question
Hey guys, I want to put a custom exhaust together. But 2 order, you got to fill in the Inlet & Outlet location,size. (Offset/Center) Which combo do I choose?

Here's a novel idea. Why don't you call the place that you have to place the order with. Especially since no one knows what you're building or why.

Well I dunno how else 2 explain, Im going to get 3" piping, and going for 3" in/outlet muffler.. But since i dont know whether to get offset/center, center/center or something ;>
And they are located in USA, so it might be a hassle contacting them via my country xd

generally most exhausts on civics are center/center even the tiny oem one except the inlet is higher then the outlet but it's still center/center and when you run your pipes you will need to bend over or under the axle to accommodate this. no u can't get a offset/center no room for the muffler sideways under there lol

unless your running a turbo/supercharger set up, biggest you should run is 2.25". Even 2.5" is too much imho. N/A needs back pressure or you will actually lose power. And for a dx, don't pay an arm and a leg. Local exhaust shop or ebay is the way to go just because cost to power ratio is not worth it.

if i could e-knock you out i would. back pressure is a myth. anything after the header is restriction. think how race cars work. this isn't rocket science(although it really does seem like it for some of you.).
its been proven many many times over that a 3 in will outperform over 2.5 on any motor at any build level. fully built b20s to STOCK b16as. always won throughout the entire power band. don't say things you can't back up.
