Maybe its just me but I wouldn't even compare the two. One is a one piece 18 way adjustable coilover and the other is a "2-piece" coilover setup with probably not only less height adjustability but less dampener adjustability. Not to mention the rebound and compression controls you would have with the Type II's.

You also have to consider that GC's spring rates may not be as well matched to the Koni dampner as those of Function/ Form's which you also have the option of going with custom soring rates if you choose.</TD></TR></TABLE>

nah im not really comparing the two im just wondering which would be a better setup for a street driven car.. i wanna get low but not feeling every bump in the rode... so i knew koni/gc with custom spring rates were great and now reading on the type II's i see alot of people like them too.. the price range is around the same with the koni/gc around 760$ and the type II's at about 850$

Care to explain, please?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Function is offering a upgrade spring option for swift springs... so you can buy a set of coilovers and add the option then you have swift springs along with a great set up...

as well as the "DRAG" option as well with rear struts valved for 1000lb springs..

Again maybe its just me but I think you would be happier with the Type II's for both street and track use over the Koni/GC setup.

My friend has a set of Tokico Illuminas with GC's on them and they were a major improvement from his Tokicos with an Eibach Pro kit (as far as adjustability and comfort), but I still think you would be happier with the a one piece coilover.

Given the ability to adjust the dampner, rebound, and compression on top a lower spring rate on the Type II's (stock, not custom) compared to other one piece coilovers. They are a pretty street friendly coilover setup.

If you haven't read it already, check out the review on the Function/Form's on NWP4Life.com's homepage.

Hey these coilovers seem like quality pieces from what ive noticed ! Any idea on how they would do on the roads here in Boston? also how they would hold up against rust?

Very sweet looking setup bro. What car is that on, I know it can only be like one of four different cars.

And if you don't mind me asking where did you get the LCA's, do they still make them? (I can't find them on their website anymore)

Thanks for the info man.

implayaz9: From what I have seen the Tein SS's go pretty low, but thats just my opinion. Everyone has a different idea of low, and I'm not really sure if the Function/ Forms can go any lower than the SS's or not. Judging by NWP4Life's review on them I'd say you can go pretty low though. And yes from what I have read the off the shelf spring rates are pretty street friendly.

Pworld: Do you guys have any idea of when the Type II's may be released for the DC5? Or does anyone know?
